Robert Rindler

ROBERT RINDLER has been a part-time resident of Wellfleet for more than 30 years. Since moving here full-time in 2005 he has served on the Boards of CCCC (Cape Cod Community College) and WPH (Wellfleet Preservation Hall), chaired the Education Committee at PAAM (Provincetown Art Association and Museum),  and serves on the Board, Education, Development and Strategic Planning Committees at The Truro Center for the Arts at Castle Hill.


A native of New York City, Bob received his undergraduate degree in architecture from The Cooper Union, and his masters from Yale University. He has been a curator, lecturer, critic and has taught in the arts for almost 40 years. He is an arts administrator and has lead the Academic Affairs of five different colleges and universities. 


He has served as the Chair of the Art Department at UVM, (The University of Vermont);  as Dean at the BAC, (Boston Architectural College); as Provost at RISD, (Rhode Island School of Design); Dean of the Cooper Union School of Art and President at MIAD, (The Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design).  He is also an exhibiting artist and has exhibited his work widely and received enthusiastic recognition.  Googling his name will yield much more information about his career and accomplishments.
